| The concept of Burton Village is the result of a joint initiative
between Cameron and George Wimpey North Midlands. The magnificent brewery buildings that will form the centrepiece of Burton Village have lain empty for some years and it is this unique relationship that is bringing them together and the surrounding area back to life. Although very much part of the town, the development of over 200 properties, complete with plaza, boulevard and shops will create a distinctive community with its own neighbourhood feel, that is why it has been called Burton Village. Cameron and George Wimpey North Midlands are undertaking developments of their own within Burton Village, but they will be offering products at The Plaza, The Boulevard, The Heritage Brewery and Hops Court that complement each other and provide an extensive range of choice. In addition, a scheme to convert the Goat Maltings into apartments has been prepared; subject to planning permission being granted. Cameron are developing: The Plaza - A range of 60, one, two and three bedroom apartments and three and four bedroom town houses. The Heritage Brewery - The restoration of three historic buildings to create 28, one, two and three bedroom homes. Hops Court - A small development of one and two bedroom apartments and three bedroom town houses. George Wimpey are developing: The Boulevard - A comprehensive mix of 98, one and two bedroom apartments and three and four bedroom town houses. |
